1.What Is Not Covered In The Warranty?
The Fantor Warranty does not cover:
Defects and damages due to loss, theft, fire, water, or a natural disaster;
Failure or damage caused by improper use, carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal/glass, etc.), or accidents
Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification;
Esthetical changes, defects, and damages due to normal wear and tear and aging (e.g. minor scratches on the case or crystal, altercation of the watchband and peeling of the plating, etc.).
2.How Do I Know Whether My Fantor Watch Is Authentic?
To ensure the authenticity of a Fantor watches, it must be purchased directly from our website or from an authorized retailer.
3.How Long Is The Warranty Valid And What Does It Cover?
Our watches are made according to the high-quality standards of Fantor. Nonetheless, your watch is covered by our limited warranty against any defects in manufacturing; this includes the watch movement, indexes, dial, and hands.
The warranty for a FANTOR watch is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Upon expiration of the warranty period, any repairs will be subject to a service charge.
Other parts that are not listed above are not covered by this warranty. If the product is returned during the warranty period, FANTOR will repair or replace any defective watch or watch-part, at no additional expense, within a reasonable time, after the product is returned. However, the customer may be subject to the costs of shipping the product.
4.What Is The Leather Wristband Made Of?
All of our leather watchbands are made of genuine leather.
As leather is an organic material, all watchbands will vary in grain as well as texture. Changes in the hue that come with regular wear are a natural part of the aging process when it comes to high-quality leather.
5.Is My Watch Waterproof?
The water resistance of a Fantor watch is 3ATM, which means it is rain/splash resistant but should not be exposed directly to water.
We recommend taking off your watch before showering, bathing, swimming, or engaging in any activity that may involve prolonged exposure to water.
Kindly note that water damaged is not covered under our 12-month warranty.
6.What Type Of Movement Is Used?
All Fantor watches use a Japanese Quartz Movement.
7.Can I Wash My Watchband?
Leather - We do not recommend you to wash the leather wristband. Exposure to water can dry the leather and possibly cause damage to the wristband. However, a local watchmaker or watch retailer may have cleaning products specifically designed for leather.
Mesh watchbands - After removing the watch face from the wristband, gently scrub the mesh strap with a mix of water
and just a little bit of detergent using a toothbrush or similar item to get in - between the spaces of your band.
